Kristin Fisher will join CNN in 2021. She will be the Space and Defense Correspondent. She covers all aspects of space, starting with NASA as well as the Space Force and commercial space companies, to the emergence of space tourism. Kristin, the daughter of NASA astronauts, and also a space enthusiast was raised in the industry. She spent five years as the White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy under the Trump and Biden Administrations. While covering the impeachment trials of two presidents, 2020's Presidential Campaign, and the two administrations' attempts to curb the coronavirus epidemic, Kristin covered a lot of other subjects. The president of the time Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan in a trip that was highly restricted. Kristin was a local television reporter in Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., which she won the Emmy Award for her work as a "one-man-band" reporter prior to being hired by CBS in 2015. Using her skills behind the camera, Kristin founded Field Mouse Films in 2014, which specialized in making documentary-style films for corporate clients, such as Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin is a Bachelor of Science in Journalism that she obtained at Boston University. She currently lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and their three year old daughter.
